Allan is an accomplished business leader with over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry, including 15 years in mobile media with startups and blue chips. Prior to Algolux, he served as President and CEO of Vantrix between 2008-2012, a global mobile video infrastructure company he co-founded in 2004. He previously held sales, marketing and business administration positions of increasing responsibility at Wysdom, Oracle and HP. Allan holds an MBA from John Molson School of Business and is an active mentor with local incubators and business schools.
Felix earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia in 2016, studying computational imaging with Professor Wolfgang Heidrich. He is currently pursuing a postdoc at Stanford University, working with Gordon Wetzstein. Most of his research work lies at the intersection of Computer Vision, Optimization, Machine Learning, Optics and Physics. He has co-authored over 20 publications, including the ground-breaking work “FlexISP: A Flexible Camera Image Processing Framework” presented at SIGGRAPH Asia in 2014.
Paul is a seasoned executive in software research and development with an academic background in signal processing. Most recently, beginning in 2007, he managed three global company integrations and one divestiture as Oz Communications was acquired by Nokia, then Synchronica and then Myriad Group. During this time, he headed North American and Asian teams in software development of mobile device applications and highly available-scalable cloud services, resulting in market leadership in SaaS consumer mobile messaging with tens of millions of users internationally and with high service levels, strong customer retention and a low cost structure. Prior to this experience, Paul held senior managerial positions at Vantrix, Nuance, and Bell Northern Research. He holds a PhD in Telecommunications from Université du Québec.
Dave is a marketing and strategic partnerships executive with over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and electronic design automation industries. Most recently he served as Senior Director of Worldwide Strategic Partnerships and Alliances for Xilinx, driving solution and services partnerships across all markets for the world’s leading provider of All Programmable FPGAs, SoCs, MPSoCs and 3D ICs. Prior to that, he held executive product marketing and partnership positions at Cadence Design Systems, Verisity Design, and Synopsys. Dave has also served as a marketing and business consultant for the Embedded Vision Alliance. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
Domenic has over 25 years of experience as a successful executive, operator, and angel investor. He began his career as a Senior Consultant in information systems with Arthur Andersen. He then co-founded Momentum Business Systems, an IT software and services firm that experienced year-over-year growth over 7 years before it was acquired by OnX in 2000. Since then he has held senior management positions in both private and public companies, taking responsibility for sales, business development, finance and accounting, information systems, and operations. Domenic holds the designations of Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant), and is an Adjunct Professor at McGill University.
