Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) help drivers operate vehicles more safely by automating some aspects of driving or provide additional information to the driver. Vehicles with ADAS technology can have both passive functions such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW) that provide critical data to help the driver avoid a potential collision or deal with an unsafe driving condition or active functions such as Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and self-parking.
